In 2016 the American people were sick and tired of a dysfunctional political system, corrupt politicians and their dark money “masters of the universe.” Desperate for a lifeline and aided by a great deal of help from the Russians, they were given the gift of a new face in national politics, Donald J. Trump. This new face promised to “make America great again” by draining the swamp and utilizing his art of the deal. Was from swamp to “great again” a promise unfulfilled or was it a well played bait-and-switch tactic branded and employed by a clever conman?
Conman is not a term often used to describe an American President. In fact, prior to Donald Trump it was taboo. But, when the president has no respect for the office, self respect or engages in telling a record breaking average of 30 lies a day, conman is not only appropriate, conman is a complimentary description of his behavior. And, like all great conmen, his first tool was the bait-and-switch scam brilliantly branded as “Make America Great Again.” Not being a legitimately creative person, Trump stole this slogan from Ronald Reagan’s 1980 presidential campaign slogan, “Let’s Make America Grain Again!” According to Webster, a bait-and-switch is “the ploy of offering a person something desirable to gain favor then thwarting expectations with something less desirable.” In business this is considered illegal. It is fraud.
In setting up the American people for this fraud, Trump has repeatedly stated that he is only hiring the best and brightest people to run his administration. Instead he has hired only his friends, family, cronies and the richest people. Trump’s fraud has devolved both the Republican Party and Washington from swamp to cesspool, an accomplishment that is the crown jewel of his administration. The facts of this “Make America Great Again” fraud are self evident when his cabinet appointments and their accomplishments are examined.
On January 20, 2017, retired army general, Michael Thomas Flynn was appointed by President Trump to be the National Security Adviser. This appointment came after being warned by President Obama and the FBI that Flynn had possibly been compromised by his relationship with Russia. On February 13, 2017 only 25 days into his tenure, Trump forced Flynn to resign because he misled the FBI and Vice President Mike Pence about his communications with Russian Ambassador, Sergei Kislyak. Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. He has accepted a plea-deal, has turned state’s evidence and is cooperating with the Mueller investigation into the president on several illegal fronts.
Kay T. McFarland a former FOX news reporter who did not have any experience in the very complex area of National Security Adviser was hired as Flynn’s deputy on the National Security Council. The New York Times reported that in December of 2016, McFarland in an email wrote that Russia had “thrown” the US election to Trump. After leaving the National Security Council, Trump nominated McFarland to be the Ambassador to Singapore, a post for which she had no credible qualifications. She was also questioned by Special Council Mueller about communications with Russia.
On May 9, 2017, James Comey, the former FBI director was fired by the President for refusing to quash an investigation into Mike Flynn. The president admitted in a television interview with NBC news anchor Lester Holt that he fired Comey because of the Russia investigation. This firing triggered a Special Investigation of the president for obstruction of justice and Russian interference into the 2016 elections.
Michael Shaub, former Director of the Office of Government was harassed into resigning by the President. Mr. Shaub whose job is ethical oversight over administration employees had criticized the President for his refusal to sell business interest that would have placed the president in violation of the constitution’s emoluments clause which prevents the presidents from profiting from his position in government. He also cited the president’s aide Kellyanne Conway for marketing Ivanka Trump’s product line on television. Shaub’s resignation took effect on July 19, 2017.
Secretary of Health and Human Services, Tom Price was forced to resign for racking up more than $400,000 in travel bills for chartered flights. Public officials are required to fly on commercial airlines. Prices’ resignation was effective as of September 29, 2017.
Betsy Devos, Secretary of the Education Department, a person without any credentials in education exhibited an extremely high degree of incompetence and ignorance during her senate confirmation hearings. In her response to questions, she did not exhibit any knowledge of theories, principals or policies related to education, teacher relations or administration. Her only qualification seemed to be that she was a very wealthy supporter of Donald Trump.
Secretary of the Energy Department Rick Perry openly stated during a presidential debate with the president that if elected president he would do away with the Energy Department. He appeared to be ignorant of the fact that the Energy Departments principal job is the management of our nuclear arsenal. Still Trump gave him the job.
Other important former cabinet officials that either resigned or were fired are Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Former National Security Advisor Lt. Gen H. R. Mc Master, E.P.A. Administrator Scott Pruitt, David Shulkin Secretary of Veterans Affairs and Attorney General Jeff sessions who was fired for refusing to protect the president from the Mueller Investigation. In all more than 50 senior staffers and cabinet members left the administration during the first 18 months. This is an attrition rate of 43% which is unbelievably high for a group of people hired as the brightest and the smartest.
In addition, five of Trumps staffers and his personal attorney have been convicted of crimes associated with the president. These include Former National Security Adviser Mike Flynn, Former Trump Campaign Manager Paul Manafort, Rick Gates former Deputy Campaign Manager, George Papadopoulous Foreign Policy Advisor and Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen. In the Cohen case, the president has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator for having violated campaign finance laws. Part of the evidence in the case is an audio recording of the president clearly directing Cohen to make hush money payments to a porn star that allegedly had illicit sexual encounters with the president.
Make “America Great Again” by draining the swamp was the president’s campaign promise. In politics a swamp is a difficult system or situation often leading to gridlock and a lack of honest discourse. A cesspool according to Webster’s dictionary is an underground reservoir for liquid waste or a filthy, evil or corrupt state. The president claims he and his administration have drained the swamp. But you must judge the people and deeds of his administration to determine if this is true. Has Trump drained the swamp or has he pulled a bait-and-switch and turned the swamp into a cesspool?

When Donald Trump made Jerusalem captial of Israel in late December 2017, the Jewish people said this was a big step for them to build this Third Temple. They even printed a Temple coin with president Trump’s face on the front with king Cyrus'(the man who built the Second Temple in the Bible) face behind him. On the back of the coin is an image of the Third Temple. They are selling these coins to raise money to build the Temple.
People have been saying for many years that the end is near, but we needed not only the Third Temple, but also the technology for there to be a cashless society for the Mark of the Beast to be a reality.
